This performance is comparable with operations conducted in renowned European seaports such as Spain. This department oversees the on-board operations (loading and unloading of cargo from/to vessel) at the commercial and fishing port. Quick turnaround times are vital for efficient port operations, and LML’s 24-hour service ensures that vessels can be back out to sea in as little time as possible. The Stevedoring department employs a pool of about 80 hardworking and reliable stevedores grouped in teams working on specific assigned tasks. Stevedoring can often be a complex and sometimes dangerous job, and our department approaches each and every movement with the utmost caution to ensure both the safety of our stevedores and the cargoes they oversee as well as the careful use of equipment on every vessel.
