Since 1994, Land Marine Limited (LML) – a marine terminal operator – has been the gateway between the outside world and the Seychelles Islands’ import/export industry. Despite being a gearless port and perhaps one of the smallest commercial ports in the Indian Ocean, Port Victoria handles a throughput of about 80,000 TEUs per annum. As a result of the increasing demand and supply of the local import/export as well as LML’s own pursuit to excellence, a momentous project to expand the commercial port is in the horizon.
